The Denmark River is often a beautiful sight. During the warmer months, kayakers can be seen breaking the calm waters while kids swim from the riverbank. The Denmark River is intersected by the South Coast Highway at the bottom of town, which connects Walpole to the east and Albany to the west. The river itself flows into the Wilson inlet, which in turn empties into the sea. It was was a gloomy day when I took these images, the sun was nowhere to be seen and rain was threatening at every turn. Despite this, I like the mood of these pictures, which were taken early in the morning around the bridge at the bottom of town.
