I have been told that it is 500 or so steps down to Sand Patch beach. It could be. In the summer I have a hard enough time walking my surfboard up and down the steps, let alone counting them. On the way down I look for the waves, and to be honest, sharks. On the way up all I want is a coffee. It’s an awesome spot and from the wooden platform just below the car park, it presents a unique view for the photographer. So many images have been taken from up on top of the cliffs. I thought I would add mine to the mix.
