The hardest thing in capturing these images was to make it appear as it was – a night-time landscape. Recently I ventured out to the Upper Kalgan Bridge, to photograph the Kalgan River under a bright full moon. Moonlight flooded the scene, so much so that I didn’t need a torch to descend the rocky path to the river. Aided by good camera equipment, initially my pictures looked like they were taken at midday. All of these images were taken at about 9pm at night, with a 30 second exposure and rock solid tripod. If you look closely you can see stars over the bridge.
