I have been looking forward to sharing Elise and Kyle’s wedding for some time now. Easy going and adventurous, Elise and Kyle’s photo shoot was always going to be fun and a little off the beaten path. Their ceremony was witnessed by close family and friends in the awesome Wanneroo Botanical Gardens. The place is picturesque to say the least and it’s somewhat of a hidden gem. Dappled light shines in through the trees where I’m sure it’s a few degrees cooler than everywhere else in Perth. With the ceremony done, it was only a short drive to a pine plantation where we took a few quick pictures. Next stop; an abandoned rodeo ground where the spiders were huge and I’m sure that more than one snake lurked in the long grass. It’ didn’t stop me from lying on my back (people tend to look at me a little funny when I do this) to get the right angle. But kudos to Elise who walked through the tall grass in bare feet! The last stop was a private property in Bullsbrook for the reception. This house was built to host a party – wow! Thanks again for having me along Elise and Kyle. Every wedding I photograph is a privilege.
