Pip and Steven – Lights Beach & Denmark

Pip and Steve recently shared their vows at the amazing Lights Beach, near Denmark in the Great Southern of Western Australia.  Their stage was a coastline rugged, yet beautiful.  The wedding was a simple but elegant affair, close friends and family travelled from afar to share in the occasion.  Although they are both from Perth, they have a strong affinity with the region.  This is what Pip had to say:  “The south coast between Albany and Denmark is significant to the two of us; it was the first place we went to after our first two dates, we hiked the Bibbulmun track after Christmas one year, we’ve surfed and fished many a beach along the coast, and I was proposed to on the kayak at our favourite fishing spot.  Given our love of the water and beaches there was no question but to have our wedding on the sand, and no better option than a reception at the Denmark Surf Life Saving Club overlooking the surf break.

It was important for us to have our friends and family around to share this occasion. Getting to share my day and my excitement with my mum and sister was priceless, and of course essential that my dog Pushkin was there too. We had an amazing day, danced our hearts out and we’re thankful that Lee was there to capture these memories.”
