Week #3 – Kite Surfing at Black Swan Point – Albany

Sonya, 25, has lived in Albany all her life.  Kite surfing is one of her passions.  Sonya says that Kite Surfing is all about “the freedom out on the water, the tricks that you can do and the fun that you can have with your friends.”  Ask her what she loves about Albany and the beautiful beaches are first on her list.  “It’s just the coastline.  It’s not crowded.  In any wind direction you can find a protected beach and be completely alone.  It’s just spectacular.”  There is no doubt that people around here have an affinity with the beaches and water.  How could you not?
